Using the website and course materials
E-Techs materials and any materials licensed from third parties are limited to non-commercial, personal use. No material may be copied, reproduced, re-published, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed in any way. Any such use constitutes an infringement of copyright and other intellectual property rights.
The website must not be used to transmit any material which may damage, or allow unauthorised access to, the website.
Although we make every effort to ensure that our Fuel Tank Safety and Human Factors training complies with the latest regulations issued by the relevant authorities no responsibility will be taken for training provided which is not fully up to date.
We will accept no responsibility in the case of an issued certificate not being accepted by any potential/existing employer or quality department.
Cancellation/Refund
No refund can be given after payment has been taken for any course.
Identity codes and passwords
All registered users are issued with an identity code and password. Registered users are entirely responsible for the confidentiality of their password and accept all responsibility for any activity that takes place under this password.
Registered users also agree to accept responsibility for any expense, loss or damage incurred as a result of any misuse of their password.
Registered users are required to notify E-Techs immediately, if they believe that anyone other than themselves has used their password. In such circumstances users will be issued with a new password.
Communication system (the system by which e-mails, assignments, queries, registration forms, tutor application forms, comments etc are sent and received)
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our communication system is free from defect, E-Techs does not accept responsibility for any damage to, or loss of data on, your computer system, network or server that results from the use of any of our materials or those licensed from any third parties.
Any advice or guidance given by E-Techs relating to any aspect of the communication system or its use is followed at the user’s own risk.
Sending materials via the website
All communication between us must take place via the website.
Users should make a copy of all materials sent via the website, as E-Techs accepts no responsibility for the loss of any such material.
Availability
E-Techs endeavours to ensure that the website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days of the week. However, from time to time it will be necessary to interrupt the service for maintenance, upgrades or emergency repairs.
E-Techs cannot be held responsible for any disruptions that are inherent in the operation of the internet or the world wide web (including viruses) which are beyond its control.
Termination
If you fail to comply with any of these Terms and Conditions, E-Techs may expire your identity code and password and you will no longer be able to access the registered user areas of the website. You will be required to return any course materials to E-Techs.
We reserve the right to expire your identity code and password and remove your details from our system if you have made no contact with E-Techs for 12 months or longer and have not responded to requests for information sent to the e-mail address we have on record for you.
Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed and interpreted in all respects in accordance with the Laws of England.
